Magalies Gin

The Magalies Gin range is a trio of gins developed to celebrate the rich heritage of the Magalies Mountains, and the valley in which the distillery is located. The range consist of Magalies Classic (fresh taste with juniper and lime notes), Magalies Rose and Magalies Lavender Gins.

The majority of the botanicals used in these gins are locally sourced or grown and hand harvested from the distillery gardens.

The gin uses blossoms from the Aloe Peglerae which is an endangered plant only found in the Magaliesberg range. The aloes are grown for us from seed and planted around the distillery. Our aim with this is to educate people about the Aloe Peglerae and conserve it for future generations. By planting it around the distillery we also ensure we have a sustainable and eco friendly supply of this special ingredient.
