Incendo Distillery

Incendo Distillery was founded in 2017 by Francois Joubert. For over a decade he nurtured a dream to share some of the best spirits made in South Africa. Incendo Distillery is all about new and unique experiences – whether its tasting our unique and flavourful products, or experiencing our botanical gardens – and learning about conserving of local plants. We aim open your horizons as to what is possible in the world of artisanal spirits. But more importantly we want to equip you to become an educated consumer with knowledge about how Gin, Rum, Brandy and Whisky is made – as well as how to identify and enjoy premium quality spirits. We’ve set ourselves four founding principles we believe are critical to produce the best product possible. After this, most importantly, we plan to create spirits which we our passionate about. If we succeed, our enthusiasm will show through to our partners and customers—significantly enhancing our chances of building strong, lasting brands and a successful business.
